Mars Tara, whose real name is Martino Tarantola, was born June 22nd 1986 in Genoa, Italy. At the age of six month his family moved to France where he subsequently grew up and lived most of his life. In 1999 he moved back to his hometown in Italy. Upon his return he studied at Paul Klee Art School, where he
graduated in 2005. He established himself as a painter and sculptor then moved to Turin in early 2010, where he obtained a degree in visual arts at the “Accademia Albertina delle Belle Arti”. Moved by a growing need of finding new ways to translate his ideas into art he adopted a multimedia approach and
experimented with several techniques..
